Celebrate the unique blend of Spanish, Mexican and Southwest American cultures at the newly reimagined Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. This beautiful lakeside oasis offers classic influences, Disney touches and modern comforts to energize and inspire as you delight in an array of new features, eateries and enhancements. You can walk in the footsteps of a Spanish explorer at the Mexican-themed Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. This place, which centres on a 22-acre lake, is themed around Mexico. It’s named after Don Francisco de Coronado – an early Spanish adventurer who explored the country in the 16th century. There are nods to ancient Mexico all over the complex. The main pool features a Mayan pyramid waterfall. Rooms have cocoa-brown and jade-green interiors and are arranged in pastel-painted casitas blocks.
