Established in 1884 in the scenic Whicham Valley, just a few miles from the coast in the south of the beautiful Lake District, Brockwood Hall is the perfect location for a family holiday, romantic escape or a deserved break from the bustle of city life. It is on the edge of the National Park, giving access to some of the country's most spectacular lakes and mountain scenery.
With 32 self-catering Scandinavian lodges, guests can enjoy the unspoilt natural beauty and green fells of the region, overlooked by the Blackcombe and Whitecombe hills, from your own patio, deck or veranda. Brockwood Hall is great for holidaying all year round and offers a range of facilities and services without even having to leave the resort. For those seeking to be stirred by nature, the very same lakes, mountains and forests that inspired some of England's most famous poets are just 40 minutes away.
Each lodge comes fully-equipped with attractive kitchen facilities and other amenities including TV, Video, DVD, Hi-Fi and direct line telephone. Homely essentials such as ironing facilities and vacuum cleaner are also available for your use (just in case you really want to feel at home).
On site facilities include an outdoor play area for children, plentiful lawns for games and BBQ's and a nature trail taking you through the woods and around the resort. The Leisure Centre at Brockwood Hall is a firm favourite amongst our guests. You can enjoy a leisurely swim, a fun splash or a relaxing sauna - the perfect way to start the day or burn off any excess energy before settling down for the evening. Our Bar & Restaurants provide the perfect place for you to relax and unwind. As well as the main dinner menu, which can be enjoyed in both formal and informal surroundings, you can enjoy a selection of light bar snacks and refreshments.
